About NoV
Notes of Valor is a transformative songwriting and music-production experience designed specifically for veterans by providing a musician's experience to the veteran and offering opportunities of self-expression that may otherwise be out of reach.
We give veterans a place to be heard. We transform service into song; shared experience into community; and isolation into belonging.
We are a local Non-Profit proudly serving the Greater Rochester, NY area.

Getting The Band Together
Experience musical immersion in weekly jam sessions with other program members and area musicians
These sessions are informal and meant to encourage connection
Monthly Open-Mic Nights allow us to share what we've cultivated within ourselves with other members as well as our family and friends

Find your voice in group vocal lessons
Creative writing and guided lyrical development encourage one to surpass their personal obstacles towards self-expression
Converge lyrics into melody and melody into song
Recorded Experiences
We offer singer-songwriter style recording for those who wish to bring there feelings to life and preserve their art into something tangible as a reminder of personal growth
